Cancellation Policy

To help mitigate any health and safety concerns due to ongoing uncertainty with COVID-19, we are waiving the traditional $75 cancellation fee for the 2020 AAEP Annual Convention. If you register for this year’s convention and decide to cancel at any time prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Kristin Walker at

In the event the AAEP Annual Convention is canceled, a full refund of registration fees will be issued and hotel rooms booked through the housing bureau will be canceled free of charge.

We recommend that attendees not make non-refundable travel plans until 75 days prior to scheduled start date of the conference. Should it be necessary to cancel the Annual Convention, the AAEP will notify attendees by mid September. If the in-person conference is cancelled by the AAEP, we will only be able to refund registration fees paid. Your hotel(s) will fully refund your booked room. Any other expenses related to travel, including airfare, will likely be subject to your chosen airline.

We Promise

We’re so proud of the quality program that we promise to refund your registration fee if, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your convention education experience.
