In-Person Registration

Includes four days of educational sessions offered in a variety of learning formats; access to the three-day Trade Show with nearly 300 exhibitors; the Proceedings book$50 in lunch vouchers for use in the Trade Show food court; and free social events like the Welcome Reception and The After Party. The in-person event takes place December 7-11.

All in-person attendees also receive on-demand access to video recordings of all educational sessions and can participate in the live post-Convention Table Topics to be held virtually December 16-20. In-person attendees will have access to over 100 CE hours. All CE hours are RACE approved.

Virtual Registration

Includes on-demand access to all educational sessions plus live post-Convention Table Topics to be held virtually December 16-20. On-demand viewing will be available by December 20. On-demand sessions are eligible for CE.

On-demand sessions are eligible for CE and the virtual Table Topics may carry RACE accreditation for 'interactive' continuing education in your licensing state. Register for the Virtual package by Nov. 1 to receive a free convention swag bag!

Note: Sessions are available on-demand indefinitely for both virtual and in-person convention registrants. CE hours from on-demand sessions can be earned through December 31, 2025.

Anyone may register for the AAEP Annual Convention. AAEP Members in good standing receive discounted rates based on their member status. Discounted AAEP registration types include:

  • AAEP Member: Paid full membership dues through June 30, 2025. Fee covers meeting registration, access to trade show and 2024 Annual Convention Proceedings book.
  • AAEP Honor Roll Member: Any member who has attained the age of 70 with 40 consecutive years of AAEP membership.
  • AAEP Resident Member: Must be enrolled in a residency program at a recognized college or school of veterinary medicine with a focus of equine medicine/research. Must already be categorized as an AAEP Resident Member or will need to provide a letter from an advisor confirming residency status. These may be sent to Kristin Walker, kwalker@aaep.org.
  •  AAEP New Member Applicant: Fee covers meeting registration, access to trade show and 2024 Annual Convention Proceedings book. Also covers initiation fee and/or dues through June 30, 2025. Attendees applying for membership must complete an applicationPlease note that if you are a new member applicant, you need to click the nonmember option to begin registration and then choose New AAEP Member registration category. Your registration will be noted as pending until your member application has been approved.
  • AAEP New Student Member Applicant: Offered to individuals pursuing their DVM, not to DVMs obtaining advanced degrees. Verification of academic status is required at the time of registration.* Please note that if you are a new student member applicant, you need to click the nonmember option to begin registration and then choose New AAEP Student Member registration category. Please send verification to Kristin Walker at kwalker@aaep.org.
  • Non-Member: Not a current paid member, or an individual not eligible for AAEP membership. Fee covers meeting registration, access to trade show and 2024 Annual Convention Proceedings book.
  • BEVA members – Due to a reciprocal arrangement with the British Equine Veterinary Association, BEVA members can register at AAEP member rates.  If you are a member of BEVA and wish to attend, please email Kristen Walker at kwalker@aaep.org and she will assist you
