Changes to aaep.org are coming! April 8 - 19 some functions of our website including login will be unavailable while we transition to a new aaep.org. Please contact the office at (859) 233-0147 or aaepoffice@aaep.org for help with any resources you need to access during this period. We appreciate your patience!

If you’re using a recent version of PowerPoint for Windows, recording is a piece of cake.

Takeaways:

  • Your camera will default to the lower right-hand corner of your screen. To move its position, you’ll need to move edit slide individually (ugh).

  • Be sure to pause speaking as you transition from one slide to the next: PowerPoint won’t record narration during transitions

  • You can re-record individual slides

  • Your audience will be viewing your slides on home computers or mobile devices with relatively small screens: don’t overload your slides

  • Remember that your audience will be able to pause and replay sections of your presentation
