Instead of horses, concentrate on birdies and eagles (and fun!) when you tee it up in the AAEP Foundation Benefit Golf Tournament on Friday, Nov. 17, prior to the start of the annual convention. Hosted and sponsored by Patterson Veterinary, Equine Division, the scramble tournament will be held at the Canyon Springs Golf Club, named by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as “America’s Best New Public Course” when it debuted in 1998.
The stunning championship golf course is nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country and features a unique loop design that gives each hole an air of seclusion. Golfers share the course with longhorn steer, wild deer and other wildlife species, while an adjacent cemetery, historic buildings, stone accents and other remnants pay homage to the site’s original homestead.
